- Managing and ensuring smooth operation of the accounting team (around 10 people) providing leadership to the team, fostering a positive and high-performance work environment;
- Managing the accounting of a group of companies according to Lithuanian laws and regulatory acts;
- Ensuring that all accounting entries are accurately processed within agreed deadlines;
- Handling VAT, profit tax, and other tax accounting and control;
- Timely and accurate preparation and submission of financial, tax, and statistical reports and declarations to management, auditors, and government institutions;
- Preparation of operational and financial reports;
- Consolidation of financial reports;
- Driving the implementation and optimization of enterprise resource planning systems and other automation tools, continuously enhancing the department's technological capabilities;
- Organizing the audit process;
- Liaising with government institutions and auditors;
- Providing consultation on accounting matters to accounting and other teams
- Performing other functions related to accounting and company finances.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field;
- 7+ years of experience in accounting, including 3+ years of experience managing and leading a sizable team of professionals;
- Proficiency in bookkeeping software such as Navision, Axapta, or similar systems would be an advantage;
- Analytical thinking, ability to prioritize and execute tasks according to deadlines and priorities;
- Flexibility, positivity, meticulousness, initiative, responsible approach to work;
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team;
- Strong English language skills, both spoken and written;
- Experience in improving, streamlining, automating processes.
