We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team and play a critical role in shaping our credit risk analysis and model development processes.
Job description:
- Analyze data to aid in the development, validation, and maintenance of credit risk models, ensuring they meet business objectives and adhere to industry standards.
- Conduct hypothesis testing, backtesting, and other data-driven analyses to generate insights that enhance decision-making and streamline processes.
- Partner with data engineers to prepare and organize datasets for analysis and modeling activities.
- Create clear documentation and deliver presentations on analytical methods and findings to various stakeholders.
- Collaborate with IT teams to support technical implementation, participate in testing phases, and ensure accurate deployment of solutions.
Requirements:
- Hands-on experience contributing to the creation and application of models for practical, real-world scenarios.
- Solid background in data analysis and modeling, with prior roles such as Data Analyst or equivalent.
- Proficiency in R and SQL, with enthusiasm for learning and refining technical skills.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Econometrics, or a closely related discipline.
It would be great if you had:
- Experience analyzing financial statements and calculating key financial ratios.
- Understanding of regulatory frameworks for credit risk modeling.
- Expertise in preparing documentation compliant with regulatory and audit requirements.
- Familiarity with Python programming.
