Job description:

Lead Lawyer is responsible for the compliance of RB Rail AS operations and transactions with the national laws and regulations, and concluded contracts. Responsible for protecting the legal interests as well as preparing necessary internal documentation. Provide legal advice on real estate, environment, spatial planning, construction law, civil law, company law and employment law, as well as other legal issues. The overall role will be focused on providing support regarding the Detailed Technical Design and design supervision agreements (FIDIC White Book), consolidated material purchase contracts, design and build agreements for ENE and CCS subsystems (FIDIC Yellow Book), and other agreements and contracts in Lithuania, as well as providing legal support to everyday functioning of RB Rail AS Lithuania branch.

We will entrust you to

  • Provide the necessary legal advice and support to everyday functioning of RB Rail AS Lithuania branch.
  • Provide the necessary legal advice and support in particular but not limited to the Design and Design supervision agreements (FIDIC White Book), consolidated material purchase contracts, design and build agreements for ENE and CCS subsystems (FIDIC Yellow Book), and other agreements and contracts, as well as in (but not only) the fields of real estate, environment, spatial planning, construction law, civil law, company law, employment law, .
  • Provide necessary legal advice and support to dispute resolution proceedings.
  • Daft legal documents, such as but not limited to amendments to the agreements and contracts.
Requirements:
  • At least 3 years’ professional experience as senior lawyer in construction and/or real estate law practice of a reputable law firm or as in-house lawyer or similar position in an institution or a company.
  • Knowledge of laws of Lithuania, in particular in the fields of real estate, environment, spatial planning, construction law, civil law, company law, employment law, as well as knowledge of EU legal principles.
  • Excellent knowledge of English and Lithuanian and experience in drafting legal documents in English and in Lithuanian.
  • Knowledge and practical experience with contracts procured in public procurement and financed by European funds will be considered as an advantage.
  • Ability to perform work independently and together with other professionals, to take important decisions and demonstrate initiative, to work with cross-border teams of professionals.

Monthly Salary:

€5500 - €6000 gross
