Job description:

We are looking for a highly capable Senior Technical Project Manager to take end-to-end ownership of large-scale, technically complex data centre projects.

These are not conventional construction projects. With project values typically ranging from €10M to €100M, they combine mission-critical electrical infrastructure, cooling systems, BMS, fire protection, security, building design and other engineering disciplines into one integrated solution where reliability, quality and execution are critical.

You will act as the primary point of contact for the client and take ownership of the project from early concept and technical design through procurement, construction, commissioning and final handover.

Working alongside Sentris’ internal engineering and design specialists, you will orchestrate a largely outsourced delivery model involving multiple specialist subcontractors, suppliers, designers and on-site teams.

What you will do

  • Take end-to-end ownership of complex data centre projects, from concept and technical design through procurement, construction, commissioning and handover.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for the client, ensuring clear, structured and transparent communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Build and manage detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, resources, milestones and risk registers, taking accountability for overall project performance.
  • Coordinate multiple technical disciplines, including electrical infrastructure, power generation and backup systems, cooling/HVAC, BMS, fire protection, security, building systems and architecture.
  • Identify, select, negotiate with and manage specialist subcontractors, designers, equipment suppliers and other delivery partners, monitoring their performance throughout the project.
  • Lead multidisciplinary and geographically distributed project teams, combining Sentris’ internal engineers and designers with external specialists and on-site delivery teams.
  • Anticipate technical, commercial and delivery risks, resolve issues proactively and make sound decisions in situations where there may not be an obvious or predefined solution.
  • Ensure technical solutions are integrated effectively across disciplines and meet project quality, reliability, contractual and performance requirements.
  • Support early-stage assignments such as project feasibility and due diligence, advising clients on potential data centre developments and delivery approaches.
  • Travel to project sites in Lithuania and Norway, typically around one week per month and, during intensive delivery periods, potentially up to two weeks per month.
  • As the business grows, contribute to building the capability required to deliver multiple major projects in parallel.
Requirements:
  • Significant experience managing large, technically complex construction, engineering, infrastructure or mission-critical projects.
  • Strong technical understanding of at least one core data centre discipline, ideally electrical/power infrastructure or cooling/HVAC systems.
  • Ability to confidently engage with engineers, clients and contractors on technical topics such as transformers, generators, UPS/power distribution, cooling systems/chillers, BMS and other mission-critical infrastructure.
  • Experience taking substantial ownership of the full project lifecycle, rather than managing only an isolated work package or individual construction discipline.
  • Proven experience managing multiple subcontractors and technical disciplines, including contractor selection, procurement/negotiation, performance management and delivery control.
  • Strong client and stakeholder management capability, with the credibility to represent the company in senior-level project discussions.
  • Experience with data centres, mission-critical facilities or similarly complex technical infrastructure would be a significant advantage.
  • Knowledge of data centre reliability, redundancy, energy efficiency, commissioning and cooling principles would be highly valuable.
  • University degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, Construction or another relevant Engineering discipline.
  • Excellent spoken and written English.
  • Willingness and flexibility to travel according to project requirements
Company offers:

he opportunity to take genuine ownership of large-scale €10 – 100M data centre projects in a rapidly growing international market.

  • Exposure to some of the most technically demanding areas of modern infrastructure, including mission-critical power, cooling and high-performance data centre technologies.
  • A high level of autonomy and the opportunity to influence how projects are designed, structured and delivered, rather than simply executing an established template.
  • A small, highly collaborative team of approximately 10 people, with direct access to senior technical leadership and limited hierarchy.
  • International projects, primarily across Lithuania and Norway.
  • For the right person and over time, the potential to grow into a broader leadership role and potentially participate in the ownership of the business.

Competitive salary of EUR 6,000-10,000 gross per month, plus a performance-based bonus.

Monthly Salary:

€6000 - €10000 gross
